
As a mid-twenty year old, I realize that now is the time to get in the best shape of my life. I think you can be a hot 30, 40 yr old, sure! But it'll be a lot tougher!
So, I have made it my goal to get into awesome shape this summer. I had a very late start (didn't do anything all of may and half of june), but it is now my second week of hitting the gym before work.
Usually I split up my workout into two 15-min cardio machines and then sit ups or a few weights at the end. I try to do the treadmill b/c you get the most bang for your time. I just don't sweat the way I do on the treadmill when I'm on another machine. But, the treadmill KILLS me! So far I've made it to 15 minutes (starting with 2 minutes of walking to warm up) twice, but I feel like I'm going to die afterwards!
Well, today was a new day! I hopped on the treadmill determined to make it to my 15 minutes. 5 minutes went by and I felt awesome. Then 10 minutes passed and I still felt great and thought maybe I can make it to 20 minutes today! Sure enough I made it to 20 minutes no problemo and was even able to speed up for the last 3 minutes! Hoot! It was amazing! Maybe the treadmill isn't so bad after all.

Good job, Heather!!! Way to go! I've really been trying to make some goals and be more health conscious lately and it's not easy... here's to hoping we both get lookin hot by the end of this summer!
