Cabin Night

Despite being winter in New England, cabin nights are always enjoyable! Mikes and I flew out East to meet some old college friends for a few days of fun in a New Hampshire cabin. Although we usually play World Domination (aka Risk), this time we decided to mix things up with a game of Settlers of Catan instead. We had the expansion pack, but the game was a little slow with 6 peeps. Also, this game people were allowed to build anytime in between turns instead of being limited to your own turn. While I found that playing with that rule allowed you to get caught by the robber 7 card rule less often, it also meant it took longer to make it all the way around the table...and in case your wondering... yes, I won! Hoot!
Saturday was very windy and chilly. But the sun came out Sunday and we decided to venture out for a little hike.All that was missing was my little rastros...I miss you astro! But I think if you had come you would've turned into a frozen pupsicle!
