First, Mike installed the last missing piece to the back doors: the handle!
Then, I made my way through the labyrinth in the basement...
to my work station:
We thought about staining the front door, but decided to leave it alone. Good choice! Isn't this cherry door great?
It takes 4 hours to dry in between coats so I moved on to the next door... this knotty alder door was a little too light for our tastes, so I stained it "American Classic"
Unfortunately, while staining I dripped some on one of my favorite pairs of pjs!! Disaster!
I guess that's what happens when you wear your pajamas while staining at 11am, but I was too lazy to search for a pair of shorts (did you see the pictures of the basement?? my clothes are somewhere in there)
So here's a shout out to my cute pink pjs, the first casualty of the Tanana demolition project, may you know that you were incredibly soft, stretchy and much loved. I'm going to miss you.

Wow! Those doors look great! It's just so exciting for you guys! I can't wait to see it all finished
OMG you guys have a house! You're such grownups!
Haha and to think it wasn't so long ago that Mike was honing his construction skills installing climbing walls in the deep home (it's still there :)).
Nice job. Keep the pj's they will be a fond memory someday!
