As much as we love our new house, it has a strange lay out. To get to either bathroom, you have to go through another room (not very convenient or practical). Then there's this huge long entry room you walk into front the main front door (which is actually on the side of the house). The front room is the best for the views, but not quite sure what to put in there. Or how to fill up both a living room and family room that are side by side.We've thought about putting interior french doors between the family and living room to break up the flow. What do you think? Any ideas on how to fix the feng shui of our strange house?

Whoa! I wish I had some good advice. I can't wait to see it but it does sound like a different sort of lay out. Old houses are the best though. I don't care how much money Scott & I have (which will be none) we'll buy an older house with character.
I like the idea of the inside french doors. very pretty & a perfect way to break it up.
