Stenciling

I love the look of stencils even though it is very time consuming! I think I would stencil all over the house if Mike let me. In the end we decided to just do one wall in the family room and I'm planning on doing a wall in the bedroom and maybe stripes in the entry way.


For those curious, the stencil I used is called Pompeian Ornament (one of Cynthia's designs). I know it's hard to see the bottom and top in the picture, but I actually did stencil the top/bottom. Unfortunately, I ran out of my main color and had to use a darker color. I don't think it looks bad in person and the baseboard will cover up the bottom 3-4" or so.

We also finally moved the dining table into the dining room.


Now we can finally start putting stuff up on the walls! Hooray!
