I don't know how credible sixwise.com is, (they were just the first google hit I got for "house plant benefits") but I feel much better now that I've got my very own house plant.
Can't you just see the healthy vibes radiating from it? It's a much happier space to work in now. Next, I need to add a desk lamp. Something like this, please:
Mike says I like it because it's "lawyerly." I think he's right. They're all over the law school library. I think it may help me get into the law mode at home and therefore increase my productivity. I shall call it "Old Chief" after the case we recently read in Evidence. That way I will forever be reminded of the balancing test under Rule 403 of the Federal Rules of Evidence so that hopefully I will one day pass the bar.
Don't know what I'm talking about? That's ok... starting school again has put me into crazy mode. As a 3L, I spend the least amount of time ever on class work, but I'm super busy with clinic and fellow work. Bound to make anyone feel a little nutzo.

Oh awesome! A real plant is MUCH better than the fake one at Costco. And I dig that lamp. My parents had one like that but with really colorful Tiffany glass instead. I loved it.
