I don't enjoy paper writing. With a final (test), you study like a mad person and take a 3-5 hour exam. It's a grueling endeavor, but once you're done, you're done. And within a couple days to boot. With papers, I feel like the time drags on and on and on. My papers are all due May 7. What?!? That's another 10 days!! When will it end????
But, Mikes says I'm much less stressed with all the papers than all finals. And if anyone would know, he would. So I guess that's one positive.
But, even with papers, I have to get into the Heather Work Zone. What does this entail?
1. Tea
Yes, I whip out the tea set. It gives me good karma (and less fattening than hot chocolate). Ps. yes, that is an eye ball in the background on the table. Yet another victim to Astro's willingness to eat anything. We got it away from him just before he swallowed it.
2. Wear the same clothes for a week
That's right. I do shower, but then I put right back on the old clothes. It gives me stamina. I feel like I'm in it to Win it. Except when I start to feel too frumpy. Then I put on some mascara.
3. Wear good luck items
When I take tests, it's a particular pair of earrings. When I'm studying or writing papers, it's something around my neck. College friends may remember my monkey. I miss him. I think Astro ate him. He looked something like this:
Now that he's gone, I usually use a scarf.
On a random note, it's snowing again. What the what? It's almost MAY!
