Getting Serious...

That's right. Not only is Mikes training for the Steeplechase, but he also signed up for the 1/2 Marathon in Moab with me and my buddy Lisa. So we hit up REI today to get me some new running shoes and a camelback for Mikes. Both were on sale. bonus.

I finally caved in and signed up for a Kaplan bar review course. Now I just need to find a couple random jobs to pay for a new laptop. That's right. Mac's educational special just went back on (buy a laptop, get a free ipod) and I really want one. Anyone need a painter, house cleaner, or dog walker?

Don't let this guy fool you. He's been getting some serious work outs in too. He runs hills with Mikes in City Creek.

When I'm not training, studying for the bar, trying to finish the basement room (pics coming soon), I've been relaxing with teen books. Love 'em. After reading so many law school case books, my brain needs a break. These do the job!

Please don't judge by the cover. I feel embarrassed enough checking out teen books from the library. Do they really need to make the covers so cheesy?

Are you serious about housecleaner? Because my house NEEDS and scrub down.

what was that soap opera you used to watch? Passions? I was at Barnes and NOble this last weekend and saw they had a new section: "Paranormal Romance Novels..."

I meant "a" not "and." The brain is moving too fast today.

Paranormal Romance novels are like CRAZY exploding.

And I seriously wish Richelle Mead could get some better covers. They are just BAD. At least Tithe, Fire, & Shiver all have better covers. Let me know what you think about Shiver & Tithe. I haven't read Fire because I didn't love the first one- Graceling right?

I lost my embarrassment at checking out teen books. As long as the covers aren't too lame. Because I do it so much. HA!
