For one of the days, we drove out to Antelope Island State Park to check out the Great Salt Lake.
I thought it was going to be a cold day and wore a sweatshirt and vest. Turns out it was sooo hot! I was boiling and had to strip down to my wrinkly tank top that I had slept in the night before... luckily we didn't run into too many people out on the island.
overall, the great salt lake is worth seeing if you're in town. although stay away on hot days. I can't even imagine how awful it would be in the summer. they say biting gnats consume the island in may/june.on a side note... astro was sushi this year for halloween. yummy!

I've never been to Antelope Island! Maybe I'll have to check it out.

I've never been to the GSL before either- even though I've lived in Utah for over half my life...even in Bountiful for 5 years! Maybe you can take Liv and I sometime!
Astro looks SO cute in his costume! You'll have to bring him trick or treating to our house sometime and he and Jack can play.
