Nursery

There's still a lot of time to get the baby room ready. Mike and I aren't entirely sure whether the little bubs is going to take over his office or go downstairs. If it went downstairs, I wouldn't change anything. But, if it ends up being the office, I think a new paint job is in order (a nice grey or grey purple color for a girl), and maybe some wainscoting like in this picture:

and we really love this PB Larkin crib, but not sure I want to shell out $1000, even if it does turn into a toddler bed... I actually saw someone selling a used one on ksl a little while back for around $400. I wish I hadn't dawdled on that deal - boo hoo! Really I didn't want to buy such an expensive item and then have something go wrong with the pregnancy since it was still so early on.

Regardless where baby goes, we've decided digging out the basement is the next project on the list. Personally I would rather have a doorway for the upstairs guest bathroom, but Mikes has been waiting for his climbing gym room for a long time. Digging is a job that we are definitely paying someone else to do, but then Mikes is going to finish off the room himself. Hopefully we can get some bids and the project actually started in the next few weeks!

That is a lovely bed but I've seen some that look a lot like that, that are a lot cheaper. Esther has one that looks kind of like that & turns into a toddler bed too.
