Every so often Mikes meets up with college buddies for a man trip. So he is off to Lake Tahoe for backcountry skiing and whatever else it is those boys do when they get together.
I will see him again Sunday, just in time for v-day.
In the meantime, it's me, the pups and Dad Don holding down the fort. I hope this means I don't have to cook more than usual... typically when mikes is gone i don't really make "dinner." It's more of a rummaging through the fridge and cupboards to find what's edible with the least amount of preparation.
Michaels - we miss you already!
