Update

I spoke with Becky on the phone last night and completely understand why my mom says she sometimes gets confused. Becky was awake enough to talk, but sometimes she would say things that didn't quite make sense. She also seemed to think she'd be out of the ICU this weekend and able to go swimming (which she later corrected to shopping). After talking with my mom, Becky actually has to stay in the ICU for a total of 14 days, which means she won't be out until next tues (Apr 5th), if all goes well.

We believe Becky will recover from the ICU without any permanent damage, but have been more preoccupied and worried about the other issues which will take much longer to sort out.

Overall, I've been so grateful for family and friends who have been praying for Becks. I also have a renewed appreciation for my wonderful husband and our little baby girl. Everyone deserves to be married to the love of their life, I don't think I could handle all of this with anyone else.
