Yesterday Mikes found out a band he really likes was opening for a band I really like at UVU. So what were we to do? We quickly bought tickets and made an impromptu trip down to P-town to check out Local Natives and Arcade Fire.
Buying tickets so last minute stuck us in the back, but we slowly snuck our way up front and had a pretty good view (especially since the venue is small).
Overall it was a great night! I managed to have a TA meeting on the phone, upload another class assignment at Barnes & Noble, grab In-and-Out deliciousness, and get settled in before Local Natives even started their set. We also had a pretty sweet parking spot that allowed us to zoom right out afterwards.
Baby slept through most of the concert. I sat down a couple times to make sure she was still in there, and sure enough, she'd kick once or twice to get me dancing again.
