Sometime late last night (must've been after 2am since Mikes was in bed), I woke up to steady little bumps, low on my tummy. It was baby's first hiccups! Such a different feeling from her other movements!
I really wanted to wake Mikes up to feel it, especially since her normal movements are so random, he has a hard time catching them. But anyone who knows Mikes knows it's a big no-no to wake him up. On the rare occasions when I have woken him up, I really have to restrain myself from laughing because he gets so upset. I don't know why I find it funny, probably because it's such a different response from how I would react.
Anyway... I cautiously tapped his back to see if he was already awake and whispered his name. With no response, I decided to leave him alone and enjoy this "baby's first" on my own.
I get more and more excited every day for baby girl to come. I can't believe we're just a week away from the 2 month count down. what the what?!
