I ran out of my soy shake mix today and was dreading having to go to Whole Foods to pick it up. The new Whole Foods at Trolley Square looks like a zoo and is past 400 South, which seems like it's really far away (even though it's only 5 min away). I mean really, Mikes and I don't even like to the Avenues if we don't have to...
So, I thought I would check out the new Sunflower Farmers Market that just opened up near us. My friend Heidi told me they were like a cheaper Whole Foods, almost like Trader Joe's! I think I am in love with this new SFM. They have really good sales (I got chicken breasts for $1.99/lb! what the what?!) and carry my soy shake mix!
While I'm still very loyal to the Avenue's Smith grocery store, if I ever need organic food or hard to find healthy stuff, SFM is the place to go. I will never go to Whole Foods again!
Apparently SFM is a southwestern chain, but they have other locations in Sandy and Orem. 50% off pork this week. Check it out.
[Nevermind that the CEO recently resigned over child prostitution allegations...]

I've only been in there a couple times but I've meant to go there more often. I've heard the prices are really good- better than a lot of other stores. I DIG IT!
I've been sad that we don't have a Whole Foods down here, but I'll have to check out SFM. And I laughed out loud at the CEO's troubles!
