This past week, poor little S came down with some type of rash on her chin. We had our neighbor/doctor friend Keith take a look and while it's nothing to worry about, I've been trying to track down the culprit. At first I thought it might be a blanket that hadn't been washed... nope. So now, I'm thinking maybe it's related to my dairy or soy intake. So for the next little while I am going to cut out the soy and limit the dairy and refined sugars.
This is a sad day for me. I am a huge milk drinker and love my chocolate soy milk. But with my mom gone, my dessert intake should decrease from 3/day to 1/week. I'm sorry, mom. I love you, but I always gain weight when you're here.

Oh man, I haven't gained any weight yet but I'm pretty much eating every 1 hour lately. It's gonna catch up with me soon. Good thing Sister Smith isn't cooking for me! :)
I can't see the picture very well on my phone but it kinda looks like it's where her binky hits? Sometimes kids get rashes from the spit irritating their skin as it gets trapped and rubbed by the binky. If that seems consistent try drying her skin every time you take her binky out or dry the spot and put a tiny bit of Vaseline there to prevent it from getting wet.
