She actually turned ONE this past wednesday. Mikes picked her up from daycare early and brought her downtown to my office, where she got to meet everyone. Then we headed out for a late lunch. But the actual birthday party wasn't until friday. Lots of good friends came over to celebrate!
At one year old, S is walking all over the place, is pretty good at chewing food, smiles all the time (especially for the camera), waves good bye, likes to turn the pages of a book, sometimes gives kisses, clearly loves both mommy and daddy, likes to be chased, loves astro and all animals, and entertains herself for longer periods of time.
We're trying to delay introducing chocolate to S, so instead of a chocolate cake, we had a fruit tart instead! Yum!

i'm impressed at how she eats off such a small placemat! ;) Happy day and congratulations to Mom and Dad for a hard but good year!
