Big changes happening around the Tanana house - primarily my return to work full-time. I really like where I work - great people - but I'm in the office between 8/8:30a and don't leave until 5:30p or so. So needless to say, I miss my time with this little girl:
I'm so glad that I got to spend as much time as I did at home watching her grow up - so much happens so quickly that first year. We are still adjusting to "daycare." She cries a little when I drop her off and in the mornings, after I feed her, she just wants to be held tight, like she knows I'm dropping her off. It's a little sad, but overall I think everyone is doing great.
More importantly, she wants to be held by dad even when the mammos is around. It's made a world of difference. Mikes is able to entertain and console her so that even when I am home, I can get little projects done (my office is only half a disaster zone right now). He also is done with work earlier than I am, so they get some good quality time in before I get home.

happy for you that you like the job! Your story of dropping her off makes me tear up. :( I'm sure she'll adjust and you will too, but that must be hard right now. She is adorable, by the way!
Gotta be hard my friend. Hard not chilling with me all the time too, right? Right?
Oh she's so cute! I hope your job is going well! We need to get together! :)
