S is doing great in terms of her development. She's continuing to follow along the 50% percentile for everything. She's 20 lbs so she can be moved to a forward facing car seat (not sure which car seat to get her next...). She's on whole milk now and loves to eat cheese. I'm trying to move her off a bottle, but have issues with a lot of the sippy cups out there. I finally found one I like: Nuk Active Cup
This one doesn't have all those internal compartment stuff, which I worry about being able to thoroughly clean so milk doesn't spoil in it. I ordered a couple more off amazon last night and am going to replace her bottles with the these.
But honestly? All the sippy cups out there are just like bottles, I don't really see the big difference. And there's no way parents are using plain cups inside the house because toddlers love to tip them. I've also been delaying giving her silverware because I know it's just going to make a big mess. I think I need to order some sort of plastic sheet to put underneath her high chair . . . astro can only do so much cleaning up.

I LOVE that last picture of all of you! Fabulous!!
Aw, what a cutie! Love that baby!
curious--did your pediatrician tell you you could put her forward facing, or that you could move her into a convertible one? the actual current AAP recommendation is rear-facing now until 2 years. I was just curious if pediatricians out there are following it or not...I feel like it will take a while to get followed since most parents are used to the 1 year recommendation.
Katie - I see a specific family doctor and family resident (whichever one is available)-the resident did her 1 yr wellness and said she could be forward facing. however, i have heard that they should stay rear-facing longer. not sure if they can really make it till 2 yrs though, seems like their feet would get in the way...
