Lately

Work is good. I had to wake up earlier than usual to go to a meeting, so don't mind my smeared mascara and crazy eyes. But I came home and enjoyed my beautiful laptop and awesome reusable plastic cup.

Not surprisingly, Mikes was in his office working.

Then I had some of my delicious beef jerky that I ordered from Albuquerque where the best beef jerky in the world comes from, naturally. I absolutely love this stuff. I could eat it nonstop. In fact, everyone in the family usually gets a big bag for Christmas. One year, I ate so much in one setting that I literally could not open my jaw anymore from all the chewing.

It is definitely too precious to give any to this little guy, even though he stares me down everytime I eat it.

I also acquired a couple plants for my office. I think they are very cute. And they hardly need watering. bonus.

Finally, although we won't have time till the weekend to do anymore work, the basement laundry room is looking better and better... recently primed!
