We LOVE having friends & family visit. But lets get real, sometimes things just happen when people are in someone else's home.
Case No. 1
Il Russo - the guest that never leaves
I knew il russo from high school, more of an acquaintance really. So when he and his little family were driving through SLC and needed a place to stay for the night, I figured, why not ourplace?
Unfortunately his kids were terrified of astro and instead of just staying the night, they stayed most of the next day too. We thought they would never leave. Lights were left on all night and the kitchen turned into disaster zone. It was pretty awkward.
Case No. 2
Some of my family came to visit the other week: Mom, Farina & Brian & baby, and Emma. We had delicious navajo tacos. But somehow astro got a hold of the leftover hamburger meet mixed with onions. Although everyone denies it, we know someone fed the a-man. Poor little guy was sick for three days throwing up non-stop. It was a nightmare.
Case No. 3
The baby hat - the guest that tries to do a good deed by rotating your laundry

The Mystery - the guest that feeds astro things he should NOT be fed

The baby hat - the guest that tries to do a good deed by rotating your laundry
The latest casualty was just plain bad luck. Normally it is safe to rotate someone else's laundry - in fact, it's a nice thing to do for the person. Too bad that this time I had a wool hat in the load that did not get pulled out before it was switched to the dryer. The hat quickly shrunk to a baby hat. The flowers seem pretty intact, so I cut them out before throwing out the remainder. Perhaps I could make a baby headband? or hair clip?

Man, oh man, Nanny! House guests can be rough stuff!
Oh dang it! Yes, most people know not to switch my laundry because I line dry so many things... that's so annoying!
