Basement bids

We're currently in the process of getting bids to dig out the basement. I had no idea what to expect. Hundreds or thousands of dollars? Who knows? Well, turns out it is actually a pretty pricey thing to do. I knew that for an entire basement, it can run as high as $10,000, so you can guess what it'll be for our little room we want dug out...

But, with the baby on the way and both working, I figure now is the time to do it! The last thing we need is a baby crawling around with Mike's tools and miscellaneous wood boards.

So, I guess that means I'll have to curb my shopping addiction for awhile. Oh man... and I really wanted a new quilt for the bed. boo-hoo!
