Then she got sick. I couldn't hand her off to anyone, even Mikes, without a big fit. And man oh man, that girl can scream. Her baby tears are instant.
Although she's recovered from the flu (or whatever it was), she still wants to be held only by mommy. It's starting to drive me insane. She'll still play on her own (if I'm sitting on the floor next to her), but ultimately she grabs for me.
Sat night we tried to go out to eat with friends and it was a disaster. I don't think we'll take her out to eat again until she's 2.
good thing she's so cute...

Oh man, I totally know what you mean, it's rough going out to eat. Somedays are better than others though. Hang in there!
sorry Heather!! That does sound rough! I hate fussiness, but I'm trying to learn not to take it personally. :) Even harder when the object of crying is YOU. As a wise 3 year old reminded me when I was lamenting L's eating troubles due to gas, "This won't go on forever." And if it makes you feel any better, we don't take L out for dinner at all--and even lunchtimes we basically have to be standing and bouncing her the whole time!
I feel like Robby was a lot like that! And man that gets old fast huh? You're such a good mom Heather! And yes good thing these kids are so cute!!!
