Fence and Teething Woes

This weekend at the Tanana abode, Mikes started putting up the backyard fence.  When we first moved in, there was just a chain linked fence in the back, so we could see every car and neighbor go by the alleyway (and they could see us). Super excited for the fence so we can finally have more privacy!

While Mikes was toiling in the backyard, I tried to deal with a grumpy, teething baby.  That's right, S' first molars are definitely coming in.  One is about 3/4 of the way through while the other one is just starting to peek out.  As a result, she wakes up way too early (think 5am) and won't go back to bed unless I'm holding her.

While Grandma D was here, she did the 5am/6am holding/rocking for me.  But now I'm on my own.  Waking up so early also throws off her schedule for the rest of the day since she is super tired by 9am for her first nap (instead of 11am).

if it makes you feel any better, Luci often wakes between 5-6 and is done sleeping (and this is just a normal night...). I've been putting her to bed as early as 6:30 as a result! Not looking forward to teeth. And, glad we don't live within biting distance cuz Soryn would chew Luci to pieces. :)
