True Blood

Though not to be confused with Blue Bloods, True Blood is a new HBO series based off another set of vampire books by Charlaine Harris. I was watching tv the other day when an ad for the show came on. Since then, I've checked out their website

While it seems to be much sexier and violent than the Twilight series, I'm very interested in checking out the first episode... what do you think?

Lay just mentioned this to me. I'm slightly bitter it's on HBO cause you have to be careful about whats on HBO- I've seen some ROUGH stuff on HBO shows.

But it looks cool- It's bloody but I'm diggin' the ad pic too.

I dig vampires too so let me know how it goes.

AH! I totally realize now that the show is based on the Charlaine Harris' books about Sookie Stackhouse. I haven't read them yet but wanted to.

Hummm... it intrigues me more & more.

Tell me more about these novels? I assume they are adult not YA? I had heard about the show while I was on vacation and we had tv and was totally interested. I might download the first episode to see... Newsweek said the premise is awesome, but the carryout isn't to die for...

True Blood reminds me of Heroes at first glance (just rented the first episode from Blockbuster), though the show still maintains an original feel... overall the show makes me want to eat Cajun food and drink beer
