Are you thrifty?

Growing up with a mom who bargain shops has passed on some good and bad traits to me. I always look for a great deal, but sometimes I find myself buying things that I normally would not...

This also can be a good and bad thing. It makes me branch out my style a little more, but it can also result in purchases that remain hidden away in my closet never to be worn.

Here are a couple of recent purchases that I couldn't pass up (not b/c I "loved them" but b/c they were so cheap!)

(Note: Mikes has been on a kick purchasing tools and trying to build stuff. So I thought I'd point out his finished product...also note that the red polka dot plate on the desk was a sale purchase from Pottery Barn. $20 for a set of 4 with matching mugs)
