Baby Birthdays & Kiddy Musings

April in Utah brought more snow and lots of birthday parties down in P-town. I definitely want babies of my own, but unfortunately it's going to be just a little while longer. So, in the meantime, I get my baby fill through my two friends: Es and Liv.

Es has the cutest little guy who goes by Quattro. He invited me to his awesome BYU Birthday party. Cosmo was even there! Sweet. Unlike Es, I want the drugs when I finally deliver my first baby, but I really admire Es for some of her mothering techniques, especially the use of Baby Sign Language. I'm a fan.

Liv also has two little kids: Syd-star and Berto. Mikes and I enjoyed Syd-o's birthday party. Go Liv for juggling two toddlers and dealing with throw up and poopy diapers. (Did I mention I literally gag every time I smell a poopy diaper? I had to wrap a towel around my face changing my little brother's and sisters' diapers back in the day).

I'm very excited to be a mother some day in the future, but a little overwhelmed at the idea of having to provide for my little ones. Mikes was an alumni interviewer for prospective Dartmouth students. Out of 64 applicants in Utah, 5 got in! Wah! How did it suddenly become so hard to get into College? I want to give my children every opportunity in the world. I want to do science experiments with them, pay for private music lessons, sign them up for soccer. How in the world do parents pay for all this? And then pay 4 yrs tuition at a private college?

Thank you mom and dad! I never appreciated my B.A. degree or those private piano lessons as much as I do now.

Haha! Yes, I do deal with lots of barf & poop. My kids seem especially prone to sure issues.

You do need to have babies (when the time is right) I can only imagine how sweet & cute your bambinos will be!

And I'll be here to help when you do have them!

Ah you are nice. And oh man other people's kids poopy diapers are always grosser than your own kiddos - but really poop is poop! yuck. Can't wait to see you in mommy action! ;)
