pros: reduced risk of SIDScons: crooked teeth - no big deal, both Mike and I had braces anyway
results from studies on pacifier use are unclear whether it actually interfers with breastfeeding. The main concern is reduction in breast milk production, but with the pump, I'm not worried about this.
2. the breast pump
my sister Farina gave me her breast pump and it has been a lifesaver. completely pain free to use and it will give my ladies a chance to recover. I was worried about baby getting enough to eat since not that much comes out when I pump, but then I realized that she only needs (and can hold) about 2 ounces of milk at each feeding.

AMEN! on the bink! Ok, that top picture of her smiling is SO freaking cute! she looks so much like Mike in that one! Love it!
You know, I've heard ups and downs about the binkie causing crooked teeth. Especially if you stop after a year.
And yay for breast pumps! I totally agree with that one!
