Almost 7 weeks old, S has outgrown her newborn size clothes. She has her grouchy mornings every now and then (like her dad), but continues to be such a great baby. She goes to bed between 8-9pm and wakes up for feeding no. 1 between 1-2 am, then again for feeding no 2 between 6-7am. Usually neither of us are ready to get up then, so she goes back down for another 2 hours or so.
We also get out of the house a couple days a week to meet up with friends. Last week we hit the pool with the Parsons and Carters. S is a little too young to be in the water, so she stayed in the shade (sleeping) while I got to lay out in the sun (reading). Hopefully we'll get to go back soon!
Supposedly around this age, you can start to tell what she wants by the different cries she makes. So far, I can only differentiate "I want some attention" cry from "I'm really angry" cry. She's also started to make little cooing noises, which are super cute, but hard to catch on camera.
