Leaving on an airplane

We are headed back east for turkey day!  I am super excited because we get to see both families on our trip.  First, we fly into D.C. where my parents are and Mike is presenting at a criminal justice conference.  My mom is even going to watch S a night so I can hang out with Mike downtown and have a slumber party (looking forward to that).

Next, we catch the train up to Connecticut to spend time with the Tananas.  Mike will get to see his niece for the first time and S will meet some other family members too.

It is really hard trying to pack with a kid.  This time I am bringing her stroller to get around the airport.  Mike and I are on separate flights out.  I'm crossing my fingers that S sleeps most the flight like last time... we'll see!

I look forward to hearing about your flight! We are going to OR for Christmas and I'm already nervous...Lucy's not much of a sleeper, in general. :( Chris reminded me that even if it's awful, it's a limited amount of time! You'll also have to let me know how travelling between time zones goes...
