Tripp Trapp

Now that S is starting to behave more like a human being and less like a wild animal, we've decided to give her a place to sit at the dining room table.

We knew we wanted a wood highchair and ultimately settled on the stokke tripp trapp. And I LOVE it.  Eventually S did too.

Soooooo... this might be a stupid question but we need to get a high chair and I am intrigued. Why is there no tray? Do you just put a mat on the table? That's kind of cool cause she'll be more a part of the dinner table but I worry it could be a lot messier. We also have a round table so that might not work as well as a straight edge (more room for spillage). Thinking out loud here but let me know how well it works!

It matches your table really nicely & it looks pretty. Nicely done my friend!

there is a tray add on that you can get, but i'm going to pick up a rubber mat that lays on top of your table and try that out first (although I probably won't even pick that up for another few months until she starts trying to feed herself).
i really liked that you can use this chair from baby to toddler to kid (can hold up to 300lbs) and it doesn't look tacky
